“When I started this blog in 2007 most of my family favourites started with a tin of tomatoes. Recipes like soup, pasta sauce and and chilli, but it was time for a change.
Tinned Tomatoes was my starting point and a reminder to myself to be more creative.
I became vegetarian 25 years ago, but for the last two years I’ve leaned more heavily towards vegan dishes, as my husband decided to move to a vegan diet. My little boy and I still occasionally eat dairy, so there’s a mixture of both on my blog, but most of my veggie dishes can be easily adapted for a vegan diet.”
